DEPARTMENT PROFILE
The fast changing technological scenario poses to the department a challenge of continuously updating its curriculum and faculty to be able to provide state-of-the-art education to the students.
Department of Computer Science & Engineering offers three programs that are affiliated to VTU - Belgaum and recognized by AICTE:
Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
M. Tech Degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
M. Tech Degree in Computer Network Engineering.
M. Sc (Engg) by Research.
Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering.
Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University in 2013. She has published many research papers in International Conferences and Journals. She is a member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) and IEEE (Computer Society). She has guided many M.Tech students and is guiding PhD scholars. She is serving the institution from past 20+ years. She is also a certified instructor for CISCO Networking Academy for CCNA. Dr. Anita Kanavalli has a wide experience in teaching engineering students both in UG and in PG. She has guided many projects in UG and PG. She has been actively involved in Research work in the area of computer networks and Sensor network applications. She was also a Co-Investigator for a project "Setting Up a Sensor Network Testbed" funded by UGC New Delhi.
